RE/MAX RETAINS NUMBER ONE SPOT!

Category Regional News

Property giant RE/MAX of Southern Africa has clenched the top spot on the PropertyGenie.co.za property search portal based on figures for March 2011. The list consists of the top ten agencies in the country and RE/MAX is pleased to once again occupy the number one ranking. Adrian Goslett, CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa says: "There are thousands of people visiting the PropertyGenie website monthly searching for new listings and good investments. In this instant era of fast-paced technology, the internet has become an invaluable tool for property investors and estate agents alike." As soon as a new property is listed on the website, an alert is sent to all prospective buyers via sms or email whose criteria match that of the new listing. This ensures that the right property is matched with the right buyer in the shortest amount of time. A staggering 193 674 alerts were sent out to potential investors in the month of February alone. "The property market continues to recover well and the growing number of alerts and interest reflects this. More and more people are looking to enter into the market and websites such as PropertyGenie make this a relatively easy and painless process," adds Goslett. Two RE/MAX properties in the Western Cape ranked fourth and fifth in the Top 5 most viewed properties on the website for the month of March. Claremont, Bryanston and Seapoint continue to retain their positions in the 10 Hottest Suburbs on PropertyGenie, while Sea Point, Green Point and Mouille Point generated the highest number of property alerts to homebuyers for the month.
